Demolition and replacement of a dilapidated asbestos building with a complex new design. An interesting combination of traditional 'Green Oak' framework, steel and masonry construction creating a traditional appearance but concealing 'Super Insulation' levels and innovative passive solar heating/ventilation to produce an energy efficient, modern home that blends into its surroundings.

A large new detached house that required significant engineering solutions to provide the required accommodation and an imaginative use of modern materials to meet current energy efficiency standards.
New Stable Block with Grass Roof, Cheshire
A traditional style outbuilding designed to match a newly built house. To blend in with the surrounding countryside a grass roof and natural oak boarding were specified.
The grass roof provides natural sound and thermal insulation and is not just to taunt the equine occupants!

A green sedum roof was specified to maintain the outlook from the existing accommodation and also provide an interesting wildlife habitat.
The design successfully provided a tranquil office space and music studio which fits well into the established garden.
